UPDATE: 01/10/2012 A wonderful family came on Friday to meet Rocky and welcome him in their home, to live out his life. Rocky did very well and was happy and alert. He and the family's dog got along well and a home visit was scheduled for this week, to ease Rocky into the home. Sadly enough, his health started to decline drastically this morning and he passed away at approx. 2 pm today. Rocky was loved by our staff and died laying on soft pillows and quiet music, surrounded by our staff, who adored him. PLEASE ADOPT OR FOSTER AN ADULT OR SENIOR DOG, SO THEY CAN LIVE OUT THEIR LIFE IN A HOME ENVIRONMENT INSTEAD OF A KENNEL. We will love you forever, gentle and sweet Rocky. It was an honor to have met you!

URGENT-----Handsome, sweet Rocky has been through a lot: He was dumped at a rescue, adopted, brought to us for training and then his adopters moved and dumped him again. Despite being failed many times, Rocky kept his wonderful, sweet nature. Rocky's tail is always wagging, when he is around a human being. He loves to be affectionate and just lean into your lab. Rocky is also very well behaved in the house, just an easy guy to have around. ROCKY URGENTLY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME AS HE WAS JUST DIAGNOSED WITH TERMINAL CANCER! WE ARE KEEPING HIM COMFORTABLE AND WILL PROVIDE ALL MEDICAL CARE TO HIS FOSTER HOME. ROCKY CAN NOT SPEND HIS LAST MONTHS IN A KENNEL ENVIRONMENT, HE NEEDS TO BE IN A HOME. CAN YOU BE HIS HERO?
